What is

The novel COVID-19 is acute infectious disease of the respiratory tract caused by the SARS-CoV-2 virus. The high season for coronavirus infection lasts from December to April. The main sources of infection are people infected with the virus and asymptomatic carriers of the virus. According to the latest studies, the incubation period of the virus is 1-14 days, but usually 3-7 days.

The main symptoms include fever, fatigue and a dry cough. On some occasions, nasal congestion, runny nose, sore throat, muscle pain and diarrhea have been observed.

Coronavirus got its name from the crown-like spikes on the surface of the virus.

An individual with the symptoms of the disease must stay at home and monitor and take care of their health.

The test is intended only for professional use in in vitro diagnostics.

Rapid antigen tests identify infectious carriers of the virus in just 15 minutes!

The test identifies the presence of the antigen characteristic of SARS-CoV-2 in the human body.
This virus protein is determined from a sample taken from the upper respiratory tract.
It identifies whether the carrier of the SARS-CoV-2 virus is infectious.
It helps identify asymptomatic infectious carriers of the virus.
It enables frequent and extensive testing.
It is comfortable and easy to use the testing kit.
Taking the sample from the nostril is painless.
The product is intended for professional use only. Testing should be performed by healthcare professional.
Simple to use

Why use rapid antigen tests?

Preventive measure for early detection of infectious persons.
Possibility to identify asymptomatic carriers of the virus 'here and now'.
Testing helps keep the situation under control and stop the more extensive spread of the virus.
There is no need for a referral note and no time is spent going to the testing site and waiting for the results.

Regular testing helps to:

prevent the reorganisation, disruption and suspension of the activities in everyday life and at work;
prevent the closure of the enterprise or organisation due to a virus outbreak; and
interrupt the virus outbreak and ensure a contagion-safe environment.
Regular testing is a cost-efficient and rapid measure for ensuring a contagion-safe environment!

When and where to use rapid antigen tests?

The employer can use rapid tests to test the employees.
By testing clients, the service provider can ensure a contagion-safe environment for its employees and other clients.
It is comfortable to use the testing kit in various healthcare institutions or places with limited testing capability.
Monitoring close contact with a sick or infected person.
Situations with a high likelihood of infection.
A rapid test is a significant aid in situations where quick decision making is important and where laboratory testing is not available or is too costly.

Target groups

Public gathering
Entertainment facility
Public transport
Nursing home
• Rapid and frequent testing of larger collectives
• Testing in places where the visit of an infectious customer or employee might cause undesirable disruptions in everyday work
• Prevention of situations where an infectious person comes into contact with others

SARS-COV-2 rapid antigen test

Read the package information leaflet and instructions for use before using the product.
The kit includes everything necessary for the test.
Use of the testing kit is easy, comfortable and painless.
The sample will be taken from the nostril, there is no need for a deep pharyngeal swab. The sample will be taken from a depth of just 1-2.5 cm.
The result is obtained in just 15 minutes.
Positive result – virus level in the body is high and a person is infectious. It is necessary to contact your family doctor.
Negative result – it is necessary to monitor the health and repeat the test after a few days, if possible, when there is suspicion of infection or there has been contact with a carrier of the virus.

Instructions for use

NEGATIV: one coloured line appears in the control area (C). No coloured line is visible in the test line area (T). The SARS-CoV-2 antigen was not detected.
POSITIVE: two coloured lines are visible. One in the control area (C) and the other in the test line area (T). This means that the SARS-CoV-2 antigen was detected. The intensity of the colour of the test line (T) may differ. A colour of any intensity in the test line area (T) should be considered a positive result.
INVALID: control line does not appear. The most likely reasons for the absence of the control line are inadequate sample quantity or inappropriate performance of the test. Please read the instructions for use carefully and repeat the test with a new testing kit.

What is the difference between various COVID-19 tests?

 Rapid Antigen TestPCR-testAntibody test
What does the test show? The person is an infectious carrier of the virus.

Symptoms are caused by coronavirus.
The person has had contact with the virus (infected or sick person). The person has recovered from COVID-19 disease.
Sample typePresence of protein (i.e. antigen) characteristic of active infectious virus.Presence of virus nucleic acid (RNA).Presence of antiviral antibodies.
What does the test detect?Presence of protein (i.e. antigen) characteristic of active infectious virus.Presence of virus nucleic acid (RNA).Presence of antiviral antibodies.
Waiting time for result15 – 30 minutesUp to 48 hoursIt depends on whether the laboratory or rapid test method is used.
Is it suitable for extensive on-site testing to detect carriers of the virus?Yes! Rapid and cost-effective. Allows extensive and regular testing.Regular and extensive testing is costly and time-consuming.Not suitable.
Is it suitable for identification of infectious persons?Suitable.Suitable, but the test can also be positive after the infectious phase of the virus. Not suitable.
Is a referral note needed? Not needed.Free of charge testing requires a referral note. Not needed.
